10/10 the good taste like it came out of Abuleas kitchen. The servers are amazing and I will recommend this place to anyone in San Juan. I recommend the sopa de platano, bistec encebollado and masitas! Check out my tik tok for a review video @honeymoneyhenny

Excellent food and good beverages with reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere, but super slow service. Food here was great. We had multiple appetizers - the fried chicken and pork chunks were to die for. Mofongos and the rest of the food was good as well. Service was unfortunately super slow, even by island standards. We spent 2.5 hours here for dinner, when it should have taken 1/2 the time. We had to resort to going to the bar to get things like missing silverware, napkins, etc.

We were a group of seven visiting Puerto Rico for the first time and came to this restaurant based on a local recommendation. The food was amazing, and there was even live music, which made the atmosphere fun. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. One of the waitresses, Gretchen, told us, “If you don’t be quiet, I will not take your order — take it or leave it.” We were shocked by her attitude. We were simply enjoying the music and having a good time. The kitchen staff deserves credit for the great food, but the service from these two female servers ruined what could have been a perfect experience.

The food was great, and the atmosphere was quite enjoyable. We loved the live music, and the musician was friendly and even took pictures with us, which was a lovely touch. However, the service left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, we were informed that the kitchen would close at 9 PM, even though online information stated a later closing time. The server also asked us to stop making noise during the live performance, which felt off, especially since they had encouraged participation, they even gave us instruments to play along during the live performance, so it’s not like we were just being loud for no reason. Thankfully, after we finished our meal, a different server took care of the payment and was much more attentive and apologetic for the earlier issues. Overall, the experience had its highs and lows, but the food and music definitely made up for some of the service hiccups.
