10/10 the good taste like it came out of Abuleas kitchen. The servers are amazing and I will recommend this place to anyone in San Juan. I recommend the sopa de platano, bistec encebollado and masitas! Check out my tik tok for a review video @honeymoneyhenny

We were a group of seven visiting Puerto Rico for the first time and came to this restaurant based on a local recommendation. The food was amazing, and there was even live music, which made the atmosphere fun. Unfortunately, the service was extremely disappointing. One of the waitresses, Gretchen, told us, “If you don’t be quiet, I will not take your order — take it or leave it.” We were shocked by her attitude. We were simply enjoying the music and having a good time. The kitchen staff deserves credit for the great food, but the service from these two female servers ruined what could have been a perfect experience.

Excellent food and good beverages with reasonable prices in a relaxed atmosphere, but super slow service. Food here was great. We had multiple appetizers - the fried chicken and pork chunks were to die for. Mofongos and the rest of the food was good as well. Service was unfortunately super slow, even by island standards. We spent 2.5 hours here for dinner, when it should have taken 1/2 the time. We had to resort to going to the bar to get things like missing silverware, napkins, etc.

I've been to Airelibre before, and enjoyed the food and the outdoor seating area. Unfortunately this most recent visit was very disappointing. Our lunch took TWO HOURS to come out. None of us loved our dishes. I got Mahi Mahi which came out overcooked and chewy. Service was also quite slow - we weren't kept updated on the order or told it would be slow. We also waited a long time to pay and had to go inside to get their attention to do so. I can't say I'm excited to go back, unfortunately.
