The authors update it regularly, and it\u2019s tested up to the latest version of WordPress. The <a href=\"https:\/\/codecanyon.net\/item\/embed-any-document-plus-wordpress-plugin\/9911763\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">premium version<\/a> is also available for $25, and it grants you a bit more options. For example, with Embed Any Document Plus, you can embed Google Docs, as well as the files you host on Dropbox and Box. But the free version can do exactly what we need, and that\u2019s embed a Word document in WordPress.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;72px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"qodef-h5\">Install the Plugin<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Head over to your WordPress dashboard and select <em><strong>Plugins &gt; Add New<\/strong><\/em>. Find the plugin in the library, then install and activate it.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;72px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"qodef-h5\">Upload Your Word Document<\/h3>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Now\u2019s the time to open the page or a post into which you want to embed the Word document. [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]To do that in Classic editor, go to <em><strong>Pages &gt; Add New<\/strong><\/em>. You can also enter the text that will be displayed on the download link, and select the embed viewer. Not only can you use it to store and share important files, but this online storage space is also a true life-saver when it comes to embedding various types of files in WordPress. And Word documents aren\u2019t any different.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]To embed a Word document in WordPress without using the plugin, you should first upload the file to Google Drive.
