What this means is that when people visit your site and they want to post a comment, their gravatar image will be automatically displayed. But what happens if a user doesn’t have a gravatar account? Well, then a default gravatar image will be displayed next to their username. Today, we’ll show you how to change that default WordPress gravatar image.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”68px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

How to Change Gravatars in WordPress

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]This is what the default gravatar in WordPress looks like:[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”]

[vc_empty_space height=”38px”][vc_column_text]There’s nothing really eye-catching about this image. However, you as an administrator can make the Mystery Person go away and set another image as the default gravatar.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”28px”][vc_column_text]For starters, head over to your dashboard and go to Settings > Discussion. Sadly, there’s no such option in the WordPress core, but there’s a solution to this as well. All you have to do is install the WP User Avatar plugin.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”68px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

The WP User Avatar Plugin

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”21px”]

[vc_empty_space height=”38px”][vc_column_text]This plugin is super useful and definitely among the best of its kind. The free version enables you to set any image of your choice as the default gravatar.
