We\u2019ll show you the version of the instructions as of May 2021. Please note that your profile\u2019s public visibility will have to be put to \u201con\u201d for this to work.<br \/>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]To start, go to your LinkedIn profile page.<strong> From there, click on the Edit public profile &amp; URL link. You can also navigate to <em><strong>Appearance &gt; Widgets or Appearance &gt; Customize &gt; Widgets<\/strong><\/em>, and add the code as a widget using the custom text or the custom HTML widgets. If you choose to add the code to a page or post, you\u2019ll have to do it for each page separately. <strong>With a widget, you can have it in every page\u2019s or post\u2019s footer or sidebar.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]With that, you\u2019re done.<strong> If you\u2019re lucky \u2013 because luck appears to be a defining factor, at least instead of any officially confirmed factors \u2013 you\u2019ll get a full badge on your website.<\/strong> Otherwise, it\u2019s a hyperlink to your profile with your name as the anchor text. Not impressive at all.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;68px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"qodef-h4\"><a id=\"what-if-the-recommended-method-doesnt-work\"><\/a>What If the Recommended Method Doesn\u2019t Work?<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<strong>If you\u2019re stuck with a hyperlinked LinkedIn non-badge, it\u2019s pretty reasonable to feel disappointed.<\/strong> You\u2019re more than free to try different ways to add the code to your website. You can skip the header and footer injector and just add the first line of code to a page. You can add the second line of code as a widget or directly to a page. Not as elegant as the original badge, but still \u2013 not bad.<br \/>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Finally, if you want a solution that works on all pages, you need to create an image widget and insert it in the header, footer, or sidebar.<\/strong> Go to either <em><strong>Appearance &gt; Customize &gt; Widgets<\/strong><\/em> or<em><strong> Appearance &gt; Widgets<\/strong><\/em>.
