intention and purpose of a highly-targeted email campaign, and they end up flagged as spam anyway?<strong> Some of the things that might have gone wrong you have at your disposal is configuring SMTP for your WordPress website, which means updating it to use the latest protocol.<\/strong> One way to do it is by using <a href=\"https:\/\/qodeinteractive.com\/magazine\/wordpress-smtp-services\">SMTP service providers<\/a>, some of which can also serve as email service providers.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>Choosing a good email service provider is important because the reputable ones will do their share to help your emails reach the recipients and not the spam folders.<\/strong> So besides working hard to keep their record squeaky clean, they should also be able to help you set up email authentication \u2013 a very important step for helping your emails appear less spammy to spam filters.<strong> SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are authentication methods your email service provider should help you use.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space Sure, just putting a contact form on your website might not build you a mailing list overnight, but it\u2019s a start. <strong>You\u2019ll still need a way to get people to the page that has the form, and you\u2019ll still need to give them an offer that will make them give you their emails. <\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;28px&#8221;][vc_column_text]Still, it\u2019s worth the effort because doing it any other way just means trouble. <strong>You should never try to buy email lists and expect to see delivery and open rates as you would with organically grown mailing lists.<\/strong> You shouldn\u2019t even expect to avoid being blacklisted for long if you go down the path of buying email lists.
